in addition, ive been doing the same routine for almost 8 or 10 months from now.. my skin really improved a lot and people around me could testify and see how big the improvement is.. my skin is whiter than it was before and a shiny..but not oily.. also i forgot to add that i use toner, Ponds whitening toner before applying cream..

no. your over doing it. if you wash and scrub too much your are going to rub your skin raw. this can cause irritation, itchiness, lacerations and permanent scaring.

its great to exfoliate but if you do it too much your gonna scratch you new skin and damage it.

tone your routine down

Your routine really is ambitious! Wow! I think scrubbing your skin might be a little too much both morning and night! Sometimes scrubbing over-stimulates the oil glands and they send up more oil. So I'd need to know if you are still oily or over dry. If you describe your skin, I can advise you whether you're overdoing it. Thanks.

Personally i think that your over doing it a little… you don't have to do so much your skin has got to be amazingly clean but its got to be tired out, theres too many products. If you just use a facial wash or scrub once or twice a day that would be fine your skin produces its own cleaning and replenishing oils that is getting washed off by all the products that is getting used. I'm not trying to sound critical don't get me wrong but your overdoin it

different things work for different ppl depending on their skin type and their environment.

but yes, you should be using a soap specifically for your face, and a different one to bath/shower with. Now if your face is dry, you might want to try something other than soap, which tends to be drying. facial scrubs are awesome to remove dead skin, and let the skin breathe..they usually are used a couple times a week, and you can also use a mask suitable for your skin type 1-2 times a week.

i'll give you an example of my beauty routine. I use mario badescu.

am: cucumber soap
then seaweed lotion (which is like an astringent that removes excess oil and dirt)
then calming cream (i have sensitive skin and have to use this before applying mositurizer)
moisturizer with spf 15 (to protect from discoloration due to sun)
then drying cream, to dry up acne scars and blemishes

1-2 times a week, i use a kiwi face scrub (like u do)
1-2 times a week, i use a calming mask which helps with the redness i have

i also have an eye cream that i apply as well.

sounds like a lot of work, but everyone noticed that my skin has improved 100% since. the drying cream got rid of a 2 year old raised acne scar. i'm still working on some acne and blemishes.

your routine sounds great. you might want to add an astringent/toner after your soap.

oh, one tip. if at all possible, keep all your products in the same brand. some brands don't work with others. it's best to stick to one product line.

whoa… i could never keep up with that, and i think that it is a bit too much. doctors say you're not supposed to wash your face with cleanser or soap etc. more than three times a day, so scrubbing it twice a day sounds a bit scary. just wash your face with a good cleanser once in the morning and once before bed and your skin will be fine. if you over do it, then you'll end up damaging your skin and make it sensitive and easily sun burned and dry and red and chapped etc.

Some say we should allow some of our own oils in our skin.
I think you do a good job at the washing twice a day, I feel you scrub to much or to often. Scrubbing is good a few times a week. Use a good moisturizes and use it in the AM & PM daily. Your doing great.

Drinking lots of Water is also another great way to care for your skin. Water keeps our skin mousturised to.
